Welcome to the web pages of Eynsham Morris

Eynsham Morris have a proud tradition stretching back to the nineteenth century and probably beyond. We have some of the the most exciting and flamboyant dances in the morris tradition, and a dancing style to match. We try to live up to Cecil Sharp's description from 1908 (above).

From the menu bar on the left you can find out where we're dancing, read about our long history, look at pictures and videos, and learn a bit about the dances. You can also find out about our home town, Eynsham. Contact us to find out more, to invite us to dance for you, or to join us.

From 1996 to 2009 the Eynsham Morris web site was kindly hosted by the Bodleian Library. You can still look at those pages although they will not be maintained and will disappear at some point. If there's anything on the old pages that you can't find here, contact the webmaster.

Helen & Douglas House
We are very pleased to support Helen & Douglas House in Oxford, and it's always fun to dance there. We have a fund we maintain for music projects, which comes from the sales of our CD After the Dance so it seemed like a suitable destination !
