Boxing Day 2023

Boxing Day 2023

Eynsham Morris have a proud tradition stretching back to the nineteenth century and probably beyond. There have been some breaks but we've now put more than 40 years of dancing behind us since we restarted! We have some of the most exciting and flamboyant dances in the morris tradition, and a dancing style to match. We try to live up to Cecil Sharp's description from 1908 (above).

From the menu bar on the left you can find out where we're dancing, read about our long history, look at pictures and videos, and learn a bit about the dances. You can also find out about our home town, Eynsham. Contact us to find out more, to invite us to dance for you, or to join us.

Mick Barlow
We're sorry to learn of the death of Mick Barlow. Mick joined the side very early on and was a member over 40 years, mainly as a dancer but latterly tending to play tambourine. He was devoted to his wife Carol who passed away five years ago. Mick was a great character, a stalwart of the team and will be sorely missed.
